Today, at her office in the European Parliament, Maria da Graça Carvalho met the Irish Minister for Research and Innovation, Mr Seán Sherlock, in her capacity as Rapporteur for the Horizon 2020 Specific Programme.
Minister Sherlock will chair the Competiveness Council in relation to Research and Innovation issues during the Irish Presidency of the EU in the first half of 2013. During the meeting they spoke about their perspectives on the Research portfolio.
